With 30 years’ procurement experience, Mark has established a track record in successfully implementing new procurement systems and processes in several organizations (including Nokia).
Mark’s ability to link a broad and innovative vision to the needs of the organization on the ground has delivered significant benefits to the organizations. Most recently he has developed and implemented a standard vendor selection and management process for a Construction Company in Saudi Arabia, whilst acting as Interim Head of Procurement.
Mark is also an experienced trainer having designed and delivered numerous courses in Sourcing, Negotiation, SRM and Category Management for a large number of organizations. Mark has also been trained as a ‘Prince II Project Manager’ and has successfully implemented this in projects for a variety of clients in IT and Business Change Program’s.
Procurement transformation and cost management initiatives, including strategy development, organizational design, policy and procedures, process improvements, opportunity analysis, category management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, competence assessment and program management.
